Hi! I’m Sydney.

I graduated in December 2023 from Texas A&M University with a BS in Computer Engineering and a minor in Mathematics. After some reflection, I decided to pivot my career to math education. I’m excited to be pursuing an MA in Educational Studies with Secondary Certification at the University of Michigan in 2025.

In my free time, you can find me hiking, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and taking walks with my cat.

In the summer of 2021, I stepped back from my normal life and embarked on a solo cross-country road trip. Over 47 days, I drove 8,245 miles and hiked 92 miles across the United States, documenting my adventures along the way. If you know me and are interested in reading about the trip (and some of my other adventures), feel free to reach out for the password!

“You can’t see the future coming — not the terrors, for sure, but you also can’t see the wonders that are coming, the moments of light-soaked joy that await each of us.”
